Professor Louise Rose, RN, PhD, is a Professor of Nursing at King’s College London, UK, and an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto. She is also an Honorary Professor at the Lane Fox Respiratory Unit at St. Thomas’s Hospital in London and is the Research Director for the Provincial Centre of Weaning Excellence at the Michal Garron Hospital, Toronto, Canada. Prof. Rose is a PhD prepared nurse with an active research program focused on improving outcomes and experience of ventilated patients across the care continuum from the emergency department, ICU and in the home.
