Jonathon is a Specialist Anaesthetist, Intensivist and Internal Medicine Physician based at St. Andrew's War Memorial Hospital and The Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in Queensland Australia. He is a dedicated a researcher with the University of Queensland, a 2021 Fulbright Scholar and visiting scholar to Johns Hopkins University and Hospital in USA. He is passionate about harm minimisation in operative and critical care settings, especially relating to neurological complications. To this end, he completed a PhD in perioperative stroke and cognitive dysfunction associated with cardiac surgery and intervention under the supervision of Prof John Fraser of the Critical Care Research Group, Queensland, Australia where he remains a lead clinician-researcher.
