Dr. Ewan Goligher is Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Interdepartmental Division of Critical Care Medicine at the University of Toronto, and Scientist at Toronto General Hospital Research Institute. He attends in the Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Toronto General Hospital, with a clinical focus on advanced respiratory failure, extracorporeal life support, and post-transplantation care. His research focuses on the physiology and impact of lung and diaphragm injury during mechanical ventilation, and he is leading trials of novel ventilation strategies aimed at improving outcomes for patients with respiratory failure.
