Ben Ivory

Dr Ben Ivory is a consultant in intensive care medicine and anaesthesia at Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust in the UK.  In addition to his training in the southwest of the UK, he undertook a fellowship in simulation-based education at the renowned Hunter New England Simulation Centre at the John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle, NSW under the supervision of Dr Cate McIntosh.

After local roles in organ donation, he is now the National Education Lead for Organ Donation with NHS Blood and Transplant where he is responsible for the highly acclaimed Deceased Donation simulation course, as well as wider education around organ donation, ethics and communication skills for the wider anaesthetic and intensive care communities in the UK.
